This is the first time I went to Faust Game Jam 2018 alone, I was in a dilemma that whole group was good at programming, so I challenged myself to take charge of the 2D art section.
When I was working hard on the first cover, I realized that the picture I had in mind (ninjas escaping from Devil City) was completely different from everyone else’s (secret agents escaping from a skyscraper). After communicating with them about the way I wanted to present it, I drew sketches to make sure there were no problems before I started working on it. But in the end there wasn’t enough time and some of the arts weren’t as good as expected🫣
Next time, if I want to challenge alone, I should practice more skills, just in case!
