It’s the first time I used Ren’Py, a game engine specializing in visual novels, the well-known DokiDoki Literature Department was also made with it.
In addition to the text logic, I’m also responsible for the gallery and the ema. Ren’Py syntax is very simple, but it can also achieve a lot of special effects with Python. So there is no big deal on the programming.
On the contrary, I think the most difficult part is communicating with foreigners. In fact, this is the first time I work with foreign partners, I’m too nervous to talk properly. In the end, I answered them by typing, and whenever I have a meeting, I feel like I’m taking a large English listening test🫠
