【Thoughts】

I participated in Faust Game Jam 2019 with my friend. This time, the theme was select by the highest number of votes from five patterns, which was A and E, and we can choose the one of them being our game theme.

I think A looks like a magnified view from a telescope, and E looks like a pizza. We all came up with our own ideas, but nothing was to everyone’s liking. Finally, the genre of narrative exploration is adopted: exploring life, gradually gaining the mask, and finally finding that the best ending is to take off the mask!

It was my first time to try this type of game in Game Jam, and although I didn’t finish it successfully, it gave me a new perspective: you don’t have to do what you are sure to finish. Even if the challenge is a long day of discussion and thinking, as long as you enjoy it. I’d like to make the next one smoother with this brainstorming experience!
